Training Meeting - Tell us what you think

Training meeting questions

Although attendances at Society training meetings improved last season, the Committee feel that there is still much room for improvement, not least because they recognise how important it is these days for referees to keep up to date with current practices.
The current arrangements are that we meet in Durham RFC on the 3rd Friday of each month where various topics, under the guidance of Alan Hughes and John Heselwood et al, are presented. Very entertaining sessions have been put on, including videos of our own refs in action; free refreshments have been provided and yet numbers are still not great.

If you are a poor/ non-attendee would a change of day or venue encourage you to attend? If so, what days/ times/ venues would suit you better? Is the content or presentation your concern? If so, what changes would you like to see? Are there any inducements that would help to increase your attendances?

If you are a regular attendee, are there any improvements you would like to see implemented? Changes to venue/ day/content etc. which may suit you better.

The training committee are committed to providing the best possible service to members of the Society and would really like to hear from you.

Please contact Alan Hughes or John Heselwood and tell us what YOU think.
