STRATEGIC PLANNING
The Committee of the Society is organising a forward planning day at Seaton Carew RUFC on Sunday 5th October, 2003.
The aim of this event is to allow Committee Members to develop further the Society on behalf of its membership.  In line with other organisations, the Society needs to continue to develop and a session aimed at strategic planning, or visioning will allow committee members the time and space to generate new ideas and developments.  Contributions from all members of the Society are welcomed prior to the day - so if you have a contribution to make, please do so with any of your officers, committee members or REFSOC editors prior to the event.

Can You Help
As a footnote to this edition, can anyone throw light on the J.Jewitt, a forward who apparently played  for Hartlepool Rovers, won one cap for England (1902) and played twice for Durham County (1902). It was said that he obtained his two trial matches and international cap to a case of mistaken identity.
How long did he play for Rovers? Was this his real name, where did he go to school? Most international players from Hartlepool went to school in the town. Many questions, but no answers. Can anyone help?
