Training Meetings
The society holds a training meeting usually on the 3rd Friday of every month from August to April at Durham City RFC. Whilst this is a referees society meeting all are welcome to attend including club coaches. This would be a great way for coaches to understand why referees make the decisions they do, and why often they get it right but sometimes might get it wrong.

The meetings have a specific theme and usually use videos of society refs as examples. The society also has a an electronic voting system so the meetings are structured to be inclusive so all that attend can take part without always having to put themselves in a positon where they might feel uncomfortable

As well as the monthly meetings a federation meeting is held in the summer usually in July. This meeting brings together the referees from Durham, Northumberland and Cumbria to look at what they perhaps should be concentrating on in the season to come..
